Product Description
Bundle pigtails, also known as pigtail bundles and multi-core connectors, have only one end with a connector, and the other end is a broken end of an optical fiber. It is connected to other optical fiber cores by fusion and often appears in optical fiber terminal boxes. Used to connect optical cables and terminal equipment.
Pigtails are divided into multimode pigtails and single-mode pigtails. The multimode pigtail is orange, the wavelength is 850nm, and the transmission distance is 2.5km, which is used for short-distance interconnection. The single-mode pigtail is yellow, with two wavelengths, 1310nm, and 1550nm, and the transmission distances are 10km and 120km respectively. It consists of 12 pigtails, the colors are blue, orange, green, brown, gray, white, red, black, yellow, purple, pink, and light blue.
Our OM3 fiber optic pigtail comprises an exposed 50/125μm 10G OM3 multimode fiber cable at one end and a pre-installed simplex FC connector at the other end. This OM3 fiber optic cable is a laser-optimized multimode fiber (LOMMF) cable for use with 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications, it features extremely high bandwidth, providing nearly three times the bandwidth over conventional 62.5/125µm multimode fiber. Fiber optic pigtails are commonly used to splice the fiber in the cable so that they can be connected to the patch panel or equipment.
This pigtail features a typical 900μm tight-buffered cable as default. It is available in different lengths, jacket materials, polish, and cable diameters, our fiber optic pigtail can be ordered to customize any fiber optic protocol to meet your different network applications.
